Lakes Area Tree Service was established in 2019 by Toby Curtis and Kacee Skoog to offer professional tree removal, limbing, stump removal, and tree treatment services throughout the Otter Tail County Lakes Area.  As the owners and sole employees, we are extremely hands-on with every project.  We take pride in our work and try to exceed customer expectations with high quality tree care and great customer service.

Toby with Lakes Area Tree Service

Toby Curtis

Owner-Operator

Toby is a lifelong resident of Battle Lake, MN. He's the guy to call about a job in the southern half of Otter Tail County including Otter Tail Lake Lake, East or West Battle, Clitherall, Henning, and other nearby areas.  Toby is our lead estimator. He usually handles sawing on the ground and basket control in the the air. 

 

When the work is done, Toby enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and young kids, and chasing elk out west.

Kacee with Lakes Area Tree Service

Kacee Skoog

Owner-Operator

Kacee grew up in New York Mills and lives there today with his wife and three kids. He handles most of our calls in the northern half of Otter Tail County, so Perham, Vergas, both Pine lakes, and all the McDonald lakes.  That Old McDonald sure had a farm!

 

Kacee is our 'heavy equipment guy'.  He usually handles the saw while we're in the air and grapple truck on the ground.  Away from work, he loves fishing, hunting, and camping with his family.
